THE LOCATION OF LUKA

Luka is a small village situated in the archipelago of Zadar on the northern coast of Dugi otok (Long Island) at the foot of the island’s highest mountain Vela straža (338 m). Stretching alongside the fertile slopes of the breathtaking and wide sea bay, Luka is well protected from big waves and strong winds especially those blowing from the north (burnji) to the south (japrišnji) – the winds known as the most common and the strongest in this area.
